Perhaps… is a collection of encounters and conversations portrayed through sound. Compositions [written, played and recorded by Morley] include piano, accordion, clarinets, melodica, cello, and software, amongst other instruments and vocals. Late nights were spent laying down sketches of melodies and tones, and he would return to the studio in the morning to edit and arrange. Unlike logreybeam’s previous albums where his process is to electronically mangle instruments beyond recognition, with Perhaps… he features the instrument and applies very few electronic effects.
